Clearing the paths and undergrowth from around relatively recently planted native trees has now started for 2019. Anyone who would like to help can be assured of a warm and cheerful welcome, plus tea/coffee, cheese and cake. Weaveley Furze is open to visitors every day all year round. The
Getting There link gives details of access by foot, public transport and car. Interesting natives of the wood include many plants, fungi, insects, birds - and these deer, which volunteer Perry Knight has been recording with a hidden, motion-triggered camera.
Comments and Feedback are always welcome.
Thank you very much for visiting our website - and we hope to see you in the wood.
