Welcome to Weaveley Furze online!

This is the website of the Weaveley Furze Trust whose history, aims and volunteering opportunities can be found by clicking on the links to the right - History, The Re-awakening etc. The Chair's report on activities in 2016/7, given to the Annual General Meeting on 24th April 2017, can be read on both the links Who are we? and Latest News.

Clearing the paths and undergrowth from around relatively recently planted native trees has now started for 2019.  Anyone who would like to help can be assured of a warm and cheerful welcome, plus tea/coffee, cheese and cake. It's an enjoyable way of getting fresh air and exercise or just of having a good time in the English countryside, with family or friends or as part of a working party - contact the Trust for details of times and dates when these are planned, or click on Latest News.

Weaveley Furze is open to visitors every day all year round. The Getting There link gives details of access by foot, public transport and car. Interesting natives of the wood include many plants, fungi, insects, birds - and these deer, which volunteer Perry Knight has been recording with a hidden, motion-triggered camera.

Comments and Feedback are always welcome.  Thank you very much for visiting our website - and we hope to see you in the wood.
